Baked in Telluride
BIT is Telluride’s go-to for to-go. Grab a breakfast bagel, burritos, savory croissants, the classic knish or treat yourself to a sweet delight from the baked goods display case. Or, stay and enjoy lunch or dinner in our ample dining room or people watch from the porch.
Generous deli sandwiches are made on bakery breads, including the rich Reuben or Pastrami on authentic Jewish Rye. Pizza slices are ready in a minute or give us 20 minutes for a made-to-order pizza on sourdough wheat crust. Our Italian pasta machine produces fresh semolina pastas, and our Mexican offerings are home-style and served with organic tortillas.
Brown Dog Pizza
Come to “The Dog” and taste what everyone in town is talking about! Our award-winning pizza has won 1st place overall at several International Pizza Competitions. In 2015 at the world’s most prestigious competition, The World Pizza Championships, held annually in Parma, Italy. Brown Dog Pizza brought home THREE MEDALS, the most of any pizzeria in the world!
Chocolate Shop
Patty Denny moved to Telluride 24 years ago. She decided to turn her love of desserts into a business and got to work creating Telluride Truffle—using only quality ingredients and absolutely no preservatives.
Now TT, located in the heart of Telluride, makes much more than truffles! The cookies are called The Perfect Cookie for a reason, and the chocolate tortes, caramels, chocolate sauces, not to mention the hot chocolate are to die for. In short, Telluride Truffle is dedicated to making the freshest, purest, most flavorful treats available anywhere. Stop in for a taste, and when you realize you didn’t take enough home with you, don’t fret, we ship all over the country!
Cornerhouse Grille
Come on in and check out our new remodel! We painted, refinished the floors and completely rebuilt the bar! The Cornerhouse Grille has been a favorite spot for locals and visitors alike for over 20 years. Specializing in bar comfort food, like burgers, cheese steaks and wings, as well as Mexican fare, including fish tacos — a local favorite. Our full bar features daily drink specials, as well as ten beers on tap, including five from the award winning Telluride Brewing Company, the most in town. Bring the family in for lunch or dinner, or come in for a drink after skiing. The Cornerhouse has something for everyone!
Cosmopolitan
At the turn of the century, the Cosmopolitan was the watering hole of choice for the boomtown’s upper crust at 109 E. Colorado Avenue.
In 2016, the well-known restaurant located in the Hotel Columbia at the base of the Oak Street ski lift, celebrated their 20-year anniversary. Nationally recognized for his original approach to food preparation, Chef/Owner Chad Scothorn continues his quest for the ultimate experience for his patrons. Serving dinner nightly, the elegantly simple 75-seat restaurant, known locally as “Cosmo,” is the perfect place to unwind and enjoy impeccable service and food.

Be sure to enjoy some libations with “a kiss of the hops” or a touch of the Sour Mash.
