Wood Ear
Texas smokehouse classics meet global cuisine at this whiskey-centric cocktail bar and restaurant. Located in the basement of Telluride’s historic Roma building, the space centers around a stunning, hand-carved bar crafted from walnut and extinct white tiger pine that has resided in the space since the late-1880s. Wood Ear’s menu of smoked meats and ramen bowls pays homage to its Texan roots and Asian inspiration while offering modern culinary twists. Pair that with one of its original libations, such as the Wood Ear Old Fashioned made with a house blend of smoked bitters, and you’re in for a one-of-a-kind experience. Wood Ear also hosts live music on select nights throughout the week.
