The signature treat of Telluride since 1997, Telluride Truffles, are famously made with only quality ingredients and absolutely no waxes or preservatives. Having bounced between locations in recent years, this delightful confectioner has relocated from 171 S. Pine Street to its new home on the bustling main street at 135 E. Colorado Avenue in downtown Telluride. Occupying the street-level shop on the left side of the historic structure known as the Roma building, it shares the address with the restaurant and bar—Wood Ear, the inspired Asian smokehouse—where perhaps you’ll be able to find some of Telluride Truffle inspired desserts on the menu!
For creator and owner Patty Denny, finding a spot on Main Street is a dream realized, and as ever she is dedicated to making the freshest, purest, most flavorful treats available anywhere. And of course, her Chocolate Shop offers much more than truffles.
Try “The Perfect Cookie” or perhaps the chocolate tortes, caramels, chocolate sauces, or signature hot chocolate. Stop in for a taste, and if you get home and realize you didn’t take enough home with you, don’t fret, they ship all over the country!
